Foster Care and Education: Understanding How to Advocate and Accommodate

The Texas Institute for Child and Family Wellbeing invites foster and adoptive caregivers to attend a virtual workshop on understanding how to advocate and accommodate for children in special education classes. During this interactive 4-hour workshop, parents will learn how to navigate and understand services available to their children at their school. Certificates of completion will be provided.

- Recognize and support unique learning needs
- Build collaborative partnerships with schools
