National Alliance on Mental Illness presents “Ending the Silence” – a preventative and early intervention program that engages participants in a discussion about mental health. This transformational program is devoted to providing the opportunity to learn about mental illness through an informative presentation composed of interactive components, short video clips, and the personal testimony of a young adult on the road to recovery with a mental illness. The main goal is to break the stigma often associated with mental illness and give hope to those who may be struggling with a mental health condition. Advocates will gain tools to work with children suffering from mental illness.
Join us for a FREE networking lunch from 12-1, followed by the Ending the Silence presentation from 1-2 PM. Be sure to RSVP to allow us to order enough food!
