Registration is $25 and goes towards funding our amazing Court Appointed Special Advocates and their advocacy for the children in our community! Registration also guarantees you a pair CASA Socks, a CASA headband, and a medal!

Packet Pick Up will be on November 30th, from 11am to 6:30pm at the CASA Office;

How to win a prize: When you register, your name will be entered into a drawing for a Grand Prize, which will be selected on the last day of the Walk! Raffle prizes will be drawn each day of the Walk on Facebook Live at Noon on the CASA of Galveston County Facebook page.

To get entered to win a daily prize you can

    • Post a photo of you participating in our virtual Walk and tag us on FB or Instagram @casagalveston
    • Refer a friend to inquire about becoming a CASA
    • Your name is used as a reference for someone who applies to become a CASA

Q: What does the $25 registration include?
A: CASA head band, socks, and a medal.

Q: How will you know that I participated in the Walk?
A: After you register, you will post photos of yourself doing your one-mile walk to your Facebook or Instagram page and tag us! FB – CASA of Galveston County / Instagram @casagalveston. We’d love to see you in your CASA gear! If you are not comfortable posting the photos yourself, you can send your photos to

Q: How am I entered into the daily raffle? When are the drawings?
A: Everyone who registers will be automatically entered into a raffle for a Grand Prize that will be drawn on the last day of the Walk. Other raffle prizes will be selected each day of the virtual Walk and entries will be based on designated ways for you to be entered. The drawings will be broadcast Live at Noon on our Facebook page! You do not have to be watching to win.

Q: How does this event support children?
A: This event raises awareness for the need of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) to represent the best interest of children in foster care who have experienced abuse and/or neglect.
