TBRI Course for Foster / Adoptive Caregivers

Note: This virtual workshop covers content across two days. Registrants are encouraged to attend both days in order to receive full insight on objectives being covered.
- Workshop Day 1: Introduction to TBRI & Connection Principle: Saturday, April 12th, 9:30AM-1:30PM CST
- Workshop Day 2: Empowering and Correcting Principles: Saturday, May 3rd, 9:30AM-1:30PM CST
Objectives:
- Identify techniques in each of the three principles to use with their children.
- Explore their family history and self-awareness as they relate to their parenting style.
- Identify changes to a child’s environment that may help reduce stress.
- Enhance understanding of how to interpret behavior and respond appropriately.
- Recognize the difference between “safety” and “felt safety” and the importance of the distinction.
