Join us for a great LBTQ 101 from the Montrose Center!
LGBTQ 101 training will focus on reviewing and introducing terminology, take a look at LGBTQ history in the US, the development of LGBTQ identity and oppression, and give an overview of LGBTQ liberation. This presentation will be held by Bertie Nunez! Bertie is a graduate of UT Austin where she studied government and history. She has been with the Montrose Center over seven years serving the community in different capacities. She currently serves as an HIV navigator and community educator focusing on prevention and testing services. Her passions include Trans and Queer liberation, baking and playing games with friends, and reading books on politics and history, sci-fi and fantasy.
